Sleeping Giant School

  • The new $52.5 million 74,000 SF school may open as early as the 2021-2022 school year and will serve 490 students in preschool through grade 8

  • The school will be the first new traditional school built since 1981 that will expand the district's capacity; it will provide additional spaces for programming and community use

  • The school will be built with the flexibility to convert to a full middle school or elementary school in the future if needed
